I
have always had a close bond with my twin sister,
Buffie. We went to the same college, worked at the
same supermarket during college, and have both been
working at the same financial company for the last
eight years (in different departments).
My
sister Buffie is married, with two kids. She and her
husband met on a blind date around seven years ago.
I have a wonderful boyfriend and he and I met on a
blind date a little over two years ago.
One
of our favorite twin stories to tell is about one
morning, when we were in eighth grade. I came
downstairs to have some cereal, and I poured some
cereal in a bowl, then grabbed the Coke from the
refrigerator and was just about to pour it into my
cereal when I realized that I had grabbed the Coke
instead of the milk.
My
dad kind of chuckled and then I poured the milk in,
ate my cereal, and went back upstairs to finish
getting ready for school. While I was getting ready
for school, I heard my dad laughing really loud. I
poked my head down the stairs and asked what was so
funny. He said that he was laughing because my twin
sister had just poured Coke in her cereal!
He
couldn't believe that I had almost made such a silly
mistake, and then my sister comes down later and
does the same thing (but didn't catch herself before
pouring).
My
sister and I are closer to each other than any other
sisters I know. Our personalities are identical, our
interests are identical, and we always think the
same way!
