My twin cousins loved to play house

Well, I am not actually a twin, but my cousins are. They are a few years younger than me. They are fraternal twins: Bob and Ellen. They grew up in Ohio, and I grew up in California.

They used to come out to visit when we were little. I had a big drawer of dress-up clothes, and Ellen and I always wanted to play house. Of course Bob never wanted to be left out, so he would play too, but he took 'not being left out' to a whole new level.

He was the only boy and he wasn't going to let it stop him. He ALWAYS had to be the mom. I had this tacky fake pearl handbag that he loved so much my mom made me give it to him. I guess for a long time he took that purse everywhere, and I mean everywhere! My aunt still talks about all the funny looks she got at the store when they were kids.

A few years back, they separated for the first time (they're 25 now). He went to Washington and she was in West Virginia. It didn't last. They now both live in South Carolina.
