It
is obvious by how happy they are. They are almost
always smiling! They love to be around each other,
playing, nursing, sharing their lives. They just
became one year olds. When one tries something new,
the other comes right over and wants to do the same
thing. It is a riot. They don't seem to mind when
the other one climbs on him, pokes him, grabs his
hair. They even grab food from each other's trays at
the same time!
They are similar, monozygotic or identical, but
different. They have a few defining differences. The
younger one is louder and when he is up, he wakes
the other every time, and he is heard anywhere in
the house.
The
older one is quieter and he is a little more
patient, so waiting his turn is easier for him. He
is the one who loves his brother even more. It is
amazing because the smiles he gives his brother are
so special. He was born 11 minutes earlier and when
his baby twin brother is not in his crib, and he is
put down first, he cries and wails and will not go
to sleep until the other one is put down in his
crib.
The
cribs are next to each other. But it is not the case
the other way. The younger one will just settle down
with his security blanket and thumb and tushy in the
air, not noticing where his brother is. By the way,
they both suck their left thumb and do the same
thing with their blankets and tushys!
