3-1/2-year-old twins already showing their strong
connection ...
Ryan and Nicholas started pre-K at age 3 1/2 yrs
old. Neither had ever been away from the other. One
day Nicholas was sick with a Strep throat and fever
of 103 F.
After great difficulty I managed to talk Ryan into
going to school without his brother. After I
returned, Nicholas said, "Mommy, could you take me
to school now." I couldn't imagine why he was asking
being that he was so sick.
I said, "Nicholas, you can't go to school today.
You're sick". He replied, "I not as sick as much as
I miss my brother."
Ryan and Nicholas, identical twin boys, were
celebrating their third birthday. Each time, as
people brought gifts, both boys were begging to open
the presents. Because I wanted to know what gifts
each person brought, so I could properly send out
their thank you cards, I wouldn't allow the boys to
open their presents and told them we would have to
leave them on the table until after the cake was
cut.
As the day progressed the presents got higher and
higher as Ryan and Nicholas watched knowing they
couldn't touch them.
Finally the cake was brought out and the boys were
told to make a wish before blowing out the candles.
Did you guess it????
Without hesitation when asked what they wished for,
they both said, "We wished we could open our
birthday presents!!"
