Ryan and Nicholas are now 7 years old (identical twins). Several days ago, just after Halloween, Ryan took a piece of candy out of Nicholas' goodie bag, which Nicholas said that he was about to eat.

As you can imagine, Nicholas was very upset and reported the incident immediately to me (their mom).

After I told Ryan that he should never do that again, Ryan came up with an idea to help quell Nicholas' fears that more of his candy would be taken.

He told Nicholas "If I take any more of your candy Mommy can punish me for a month, okay?"

Nicholas replied, "Nope there's no way I am EVER gonna shake hands on that, Ryan. Nope NO WAY!!! You're BOUND to do something else that's 'bold,' mom will punish you and then I won't have any one to play with!"
