My older brother and sister are twins. They've
always had this strange bond between them. As
babies, one would start crying in a room in the
house FAR away from the other and the other baby
would cry for no reason (and when they couldn't hear
each other, too.)
The most bizarre story was when the twins were in
High School. My brother played soccer as the goalie
for the Varsity team. My sister was at home and
couldn't make it to the game that night because she
had to study.
Well, as coincidence would have it, my brother was
in a collision with another player and suffered a
concussion and had to be taken to the hospital.
Before anyone could call home to talk to my sister,
she began to have a major headache and couldn't
study any more. When she got the call from the
hospital, she was in bed because her head hurt so
badly.
It turns out, the headache started right around the
time my brother got hurt at the game. There's been
several other occurrences throughout their lives,
but that one sticks out the most in my memory.
