My
name is Kim Rosu and I have an identical twin sister
named Deena Dematteo. We have a brother that is
exactly four years younger than we are. We all live
within 10 minutes of each other, including our
parents.
We
have always had a strong bond as a family, but my
sister and I have a bond that only a twin would
understand. She has been married to her husband
Rocky for nine years, and together with him for 16
years. They have a daughter named Marianna who is 8
years old, and she has fraternal twins who are four
years old. There names are Laney and Kiera.
I
have been married to my husband Adrian for almost
five years and we have a little girl named Tristin;
she turned three in December. She is very close to
her twin cousins. They see each other practically
everyday. They refer to each other as sisters,
rather than cousins. In fact, my daughter gets
mistaken for being twins with Kiera rather than the
one who is actually her twin sister.
I
work full time as a department head of one of the
biggest and nicest hotels in Columbus. I hired my
sister on part time about a year ago. We take turns
watching each other's girls while the other is at
work. We have a pretty good routine down, until
recently.
My
husband and I had been trying to have another baby,
but were not very successful. We decided to put it
on hold for awhile, but once we stopped trying is
when I realized something wasn't right. I have been
extremely sick and not feeling as well as I did with
my first pregnancy. I went in for an ultra sound and
was told that I am only about seven weeks along and
that I too am having twins.
As
of right now it seems as though they may be
fraternal as well, but we won't know for sure until
they are born. My daughter will be four years older
than her twin sisters or brothers, just like her
cousin Marianna is four years older than her twin
sisters. My sister and I are four years older than
our brother. Oh and Deena and I are the first set of
twins in our family on both sides. I guess we just
started a whole new trend!
