We read each other's minds and feel each other's pain

My twin and I were born 2 months and 8 days before our due date. My twin, whose name is Allison, was born 14 minutes before I was. Our mom didn't know she was having twins until four or five weeks before we were born, so you could say that I was a surprise.

Anyway, our mom would tell us stories of how when we were younger we could read each others minds and feel each others pain. Like when Alli had to get stitches and they put the numbing stuff on her head. I was at home and I started to scream because I could feel it.

I didn't really believe it until recently. One weekend our mom went out of town with our younger sister, and our dad was working. We decided to have a bonfire with some people we know from high school and work. Well, my twin sister had a lot to drink while I just sat there and drank Pepsi because I never liked drinking. The next day I woke up and had a horrible headache and felt really sick and my sister didn't feel any thing! I got her HANGOVER and she didn't get anything!

We are children number 4 and 5 out of six kids and we are really close. We shared a room our whole lives until our family got a new house, then we got different rooms. One night we were sleeping in the backyard in a tent with our younger sister and I didn't want to sleep out there anymore so I went in the house. The next day I woke up and my twin was in the house too.

I think it is cool that we have a close bond and we have each other to confide in when we have problems. We do share almost everything but there are things we don't agree on. I think it would be cool to marry a twin and she doesn't, but that's ok
