A friend of mine and I got pregnant around the same time. My friend had IVF, so I joked with her that she was going to have twins, well she didn't, but I did!!!

I had never even thought it could be a possibility. The day I found out was the absolute happiest day of my life. I went for an ultrasound because of a problem I was having.

It seemed to take forever, so finally I asked the ultrasound tech if she seen a heartbeat and she said yes, everything is fine. She then called my husband into the room, turned the monitor towards us and said "here's baby A and here's baby B."

I thought I was going to fall off the table. I started crying and laughing at the same time and said "what am I going to do with two of them?"

After we got out of the appointment, naturally we wanted to show everyone the pictures of the ultrasound to see if they could figure it out.  Well, to see the look on our families' faces and the tears of happiness in their eyes was the best thing in the world.

I had two boys on April 14, 2005, the second happiest day of my life. They're amazing and do the funniest things, I feel as though I was born to be a mother of twins. It's the best thing ever!
