Still very much a twin

My name is Maureen and my identical twin's name is Kathleen. Kathleen died in infancy when she was only three months old, but that doesn't make her any less my twin sister.

She has been gone now for 56 years and yes, that’s a long time. They say I didn't know her so I wouldn't feel the loss, but everyone is so wrong.

I think about her very much, like what it would be like to have her around, would she be married, have children, all those things people take for granted when they still have their twin sisters or brothers.

I know this sounds weird but I feel her around me, and there are many times when I miss her dearly and very much wish she could be here now.

My family has completely forgotten about her but I never forget her. Please sigh me "still very much a twin,”
