We had difficulties getting pregnant and we had to use fertility treatment with all three of our children. The first one was born a singleton, and the last two were twins. It only took a couple of times of infertility treatments to conceive with our first child. Then when we tried for our second child, we had to go through 6 treatments. We had discussed how long we should try the treatments before coming to a conclusion that we would be a one-child family.

We had decided that child #6 was going to be the last time for the procedure. Well, I believe that God's plan was to test us, because a few weeks after procedure #6, we knew that we were pregnant and when we went and had the first ultrasound, it showed that we had two embryos. The doctor said that in some cases one of the embryos sometimes doesn't make it, but our little angels stayed nice and strong through the whole pregnancy and are now perfect little girls that just recently celebrated their first year of life here on earth.
