My
mother's sister gave birth to a set of twins (a boy
and a girl), then the girl twin gave birth to a set
of identical twin girls. My other mother's sister
was pregnant with twins but one didn't grow so it
didn't make it. My mother had her children but no
sign of twins. But, to our amazement, my mother's 3
grandchildren also gave birth to a set of twins
each. Only one set of identical twins were boys. The
other 2 sets are boy/girl.
I
have heard there are more. When we tell the doctors
they tell us this is not hereditary. We say what a
load of rubbish. How can one family have so many
twins and it not be hereditary?
Our
eldest twins are 49 years old and the youngest are 2
years old.
Is
there any one else with this many twins?
